Have you ever considered the beauty of rosehips. These are the berry or fruit of roses and what caught my eye was the pattern of angles against the gray stone tiles.

Yes I know its one of my favorite subjects the Hornsby park Picardy and other roses walk. People its going to be overcast today. Less risk of overexposed shots! The paths overexposed but  I believe this works cos its makes clear this is a summer shot and creates a focal point in the middle hopefully leading the eye towards the pergola ? A bit postcardy? Well I can't figure out why our Picardy Rose Walk isn't pushed as a tourist attraction by Hornsby council?

With all the attention going to the jacarandas  perhaps we're forgetting that the summer roses are out too!?
