Carrots have a Wild Cousin

QUEEN ANNE'S LACE

Queen Anne's Lace is often a feral weed in Australia and you can see it growing near the railways tracks near Hornsby station and Pretoria Parade. It's a relative of the carrot and is as much a herb as a weed. I suspect since its not a native plant some early colonist brought seeds over from the UK for a herb garden and like so many other plants it went wild.
